Jill Abbott

Chief Executive, Connoisseur & Co-Founder

Jill's passion centers on education and helping people reach their maximum potential. With this inspiration, and insights gained from a comprehensive background in assessment, curriculum design and statewide policy and program development—Jill is exceptionally skilled at bringing diverse groups together with a unified vision for educational innovation and transformation.

Jill has been recognized by agencies at both the state and federal levels for effectively utilizing technology to enable personalized learning, and she maintains an active role as educational consultant and presenter with a focus on innovation, vision, strategy, process, practice and products that bring positive impact to teaching and learning. 

Prior to founding Continuum Education, Jill served as CEO of Abbott Advisor Group; Executive Director/COO, SIF Association; Education Liaison for the Ohio Department of Education; Chief Learning Officer, Para Instructional Design; and mathematics curriculum supervisor and teacher.


Terry Miles 

Chief Product,  Expatriate & Co-Founder

Terry is a veteran product professional with a unique history in instructional design, business analysis, education, and program management.  His experience spans K12, Higher Education and Human Capital Management (HCM). 

In his prior role as Director, Business Analysis & Client Relations at K12 assessment provider Measured Progress, Terry led business analysis, user experience design, technical communications and technical product support teams through a comprehensive transformation that affected all facets of the company's technology portfolio.  As a representative of IT, he served as the primary liaison with assessment and curriculum design teams in the process of building new content and articulating it online.

Terry has also served as the inaugural Academic Program Coordinator for a school reform project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).  Through the course of this initiative, he led curriculum, assessment, technology integration and professional development teams.

In his work with the Gates Foundation, American Public University System, the United Arab Emirates University and the University of Ulsan (South Korea) Terry has participated in close detail on the procurement, review, design and delivery of online courseware and related technologies. His HCM experience includes the design and installation of training and assessment systems at Norfolk Southern Railroad, OmniSource, Inc. (a US Steel subsidiary) and for the staffs at Ministries of Education and Higher Education in the UAE and South Korea.  In addition, Terry has consulted on instructional projects with a variety of clients including Johnson & Johnson, Merck, DuPont, Novartis, Schering-Plough, Roche, Bristol-Myers Squibb, American College of Physicians, AIG, Liberty Mutual, Sharp Electronics, Matsushita (Sony) and Panasonic.

Thomas is both a dynamic thought leader and innovator, with deep experience in enterprise and education solutions across pK20 and human capital management.  He is a recognized expert in eLearning, assessment and academic publishing technologies and is a frequent speaker, panelist and advisor throughout the Education Technology industry.
